Seller Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the seller) and Roxten Studios Pvt Ltd, which runs ShoperSite ("we"), when you create or run a shop on shopersite.in. By creating a shop you accept them.
1. Your account
You must be 18 or older and give true details (name, phone, email, UPI ID). Keep your password private; you're responsible for everything done from your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
2. Your shop
You are the seller of everything in your shop. ShoperSite provides the software: storefront, dashboard and checkout. We are not a party to sales between you and your buyers, and we don't hold, pool or settle your money. Buyers pay you directly to your own UPI ID, bank account or payment gateway account.
3. Your responsibilities
You must describe products honestly, honour the prices you show, ship what you sell, and publish your own terms, return/refund, shipping and privacy policies. You're responsible for your taxes (including GST where it applies), licences, and following the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Legal Metrology rules and other laws that apply to your business.
4. What you can't sell
See our Acceptable Use Policy. We may hide products or suspend a shop that breaks it, sells counterfeit goods, or gets repeated fraud complaints.
5. Buyer data
Buyer details you receive through your shop are only for fulfilling and supporting their orders, and for marketing only to buyers who subscribed. You must protect them and delete them when no longer needed, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
6. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose. Prices include applicable taxes unless shown otherwise. If a plan isn't renewed, your shop moves to the Free plan and features beyond it switch off; your data stays. See the Refund Policy for refunds.
7. Content
You keep ownership of your photos, text and brand. You give us permission to host and show them to run your shop. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to use.
8. Suspension and closing
You can close your shop at any time. We may suspend or close a shop that breaks these terms or the law, puts buyers at risk, or doesn't pay for a paid plan, and we'll tell you why when we can.
9. Liability
ShoperSite is provided "as is". We work to keep it secure and available, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
10. Changes and law
We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes in your dashboard. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and Indian courts have jurisdiction.
